*{*Gilbert’s POV*}*
Me and mein awesome bird Gilbird were walking down the street when I found one of Lutz’s schoolmates running. He looked rather suspicious, so I stopped him.
“Yo, Albert or vatever,” I said to him, picking him up by his backpack, “vere do you zink you’re going?”
“Let go!” he yelled, kicking and punching, “I have to go… somewhere!”
I glared with mein awesome eyes. “You’re running avey, aren’t you? You are carrying a bat and have a bag full of food.”
“N-No! And before I forget, my name is ALFRED! Not Albert, you German jerk! You’re related to Ludwig, aren’t you? Let me GO!”
Mein awesome laugh made him stop. “Mein awesome brother Ludvig DOES go to school with you. Vell, if you stop your squirming, I vill let you stay with us,” I said, being my usual generously awesome self.
He looked at me, confused. “S-Seriously? You won’t snitch?”
“Ve vill see,” I said, still slightly worried about him running away.
*{*Ludwig’s POV*}*
Mein dümkoff brüder brought home one of the most annoying people from school. Said he tried to run from home. Doesn’t know if he should call someone or not, but all Alfred is doing is sitting on the couch hugging his backpack.
“Vat ver you zinking? You could get killed running avey! A soldier never runs avey from his troop!”
He mumbled something incoherent. “Speak up!”
“What happens if the soldier’s troop is corrupt, huh? Does the soldier still have to stay?”
This caught me off guard. “Vat do you mean, ‘corrupt’?”
“I won’t go back! My stepmother and father no longer care, my step brother is a jerk, and I’m stuck there alone! I don’t want to go back!”
This made me feel a bit bad for him, but I stood my ground. “Vell… Zen… Alfred zat can’t be true. You have to be over-exaggerating.”
“I’m not! They don’t care anymore! The only one who does is my brother Mathew, but he’s in Canada, and if I did talk to him, he would suggest more family therapy or whatever it’s called. It doesn’t work and it will never work!” he said as-a-matter-of-factly.
I didn’t know what to say, so I pulled mein bruder into the other room. “Vat should ve do?”
“I don’t know. Zat Alfred kid seems pretty beat up about zis… Should we keep him here?”
“Fein… Only for a little vile.”

Hero-England Path
Reader’s POV
The gloominess of the day was very fitting. Rain was always appropriate for funerals, no matter who the funeral belonged to. But today, and for this funeral, the cold mist seemed especially appropriate. There were other kids there, and some of them looked as if they didn’t really understand the situation. Others obviously knew what it meant, and some of them hadn’t seemed to grasp what exactly it meant yet. It was depressing seeing all the little kids, especially the ones Alfred had been good friends with. They all looked terribly sad, but none quite so much as Arthur. Arthur looked almost dead as he stared at

Prussia x Reader: A Ghost of the Past 1/3
You slammed the door shut behind you and headed into the forest behind your new home, like you had done more often than not these days. The loud yelling of your parents started to fade as the distance between the house and yourself grew. Today’s fight had been the worst so far and you simply couldn’t stand it anymore. For some reason you made exploring “your” forest your habit, while your parents chose to fight their private world war III.
Bird chirps and rustling of leaves suddenly entered your ears. In the distance you heard a crow. Each time you came here you dared to go a bit farther in. The dark spots where the s

The Last Three Days
"Ich schau zurück auf eine wunderschöne Zeit; warst die Zuflucht und die Wiege meines Seins."
February 22, 1947
It’s dark when Prussia gets home.
The sun has long since vanished and the gold, pink, and orange hues that had once set the sky on fire before Prussia entered the meeting have melded into an inky blue. There are no stars out tonight; it’s boggy and overcast, and the air is cold in a way that Prussia has never experienced it before. Inside is just as desolate – the lights are all off, the window shades drawn, and the radio silent. He wonders if Germany turned down the hea

Sorry, short chapter. I was a bit busy this weekend, so I couldn't write as much as I wanted to. But either way, this chapter is centered around Alfred instead of you. Nice little chapter, and chapter 11 will have the search.
